SAFETY WARNING |
|
Any tire no matter how well
constructed, may fail in use as a result of punctures, impact
damage improper inflation or other use conditions. Tire failure
may result in a risk of property damage or serious personal
injury including loss of your life. To reduce risk of tire
failure, we strongly recommend the following: |
| 1.CHECK |
the air pressure in all your
tires, including the spare, frequently when tires are cool(when
your vehicle has been driven less than a few-kilometers
or after being stopped for three or more hours.) Don't
reduce air pressure when tires are hot from driving; use
a tire gauge to check the pressure and maintain it at the
level recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. |
| 2.NEVER |
overload your tires. The maximum load carrying
capabilities of your tires is molded on the side-wall of
each tire. |
| 3.CHECK |
your tires regularly for scrapers, bulges,
seperations, cuts, snags or embedded foreign objects. See
your VSP local store or dealer immediately if any such
condition is discovered. |
| 4.NEVER |
operate your vehicle in excess of lawful
speeds. Beyond maximum speeds determined by driving conditions
or at speeds greater than recommended for the tire you
are using. |
| 5.MAKE |
every afford to avoid driving over objects
that may damage the tires through impact or cutting such
as potholles, grass, metal, etc. |
| 6.NEVER |
drive on smooth tires.Always remove tires
from service and replace them when they reach the remaining
1.6mm of the tread depth.Tread wear indicators are built
into the tires to indicate when they are worn to 1.6mm.
In most countries , it is illlegal to drive the tires with
less than 1.6 mm remaining tread design. |
| IMPORTANT INFORMATION
